The Lost Dog is a 2D Narrative Puzzle-Platformer with 2 game modes; disappearing platforms each the player jumps, and dragging platforms to create a path 
I have made this game alone during my free time in order to improve my skills in game development, this included creating all the art assets in Photoshop, as well as exploring more tools such as Adobe Premiere, Animate and Illustrator

ABOUT THE GAME
During the school break, I wanted to improve my skills in game development by creating my own art assets to understand more about its workflow.
I made my first game trailer in order to reach more players, and explored more features on my itch.io page, such as banners and backgrounds.
CUTSCENES AND ANIMATION
Cutscenes are played throughout the game when the player reaches certain stages. The cutscenes are created using Adobe Animate and are played as a video in Unity.
ART
In order to understand more about the workflow of artists, I have created my own art assets in Photoshop and Illustrator.
This includes the cutscenes and the character sprite animations (Dog, Panda, Bird)
GAMEMODES
The Lost Dog: Disappearing platforms when the player jumps, focuses on the narrative of a lost dog finding its way back home 
Panda's Quest: Dragging platform to positions to create a path, focuses on the narrative of a hungry red panda funding bamboo to eat, 
Panda's Quest would then later on inspired another one of my games, Planet Paradise
WHAT I'VE LEARNT FROM THIS PROJECT
UI Canvas and anchoring, The game's UI would be cut out of screen if the display was not 16:9.
2D Art Creation skills and software skills (Premiere, Animate etc.)
